A year like no other is finally coming to an end. Music, as always, has played a very important and decisive role in our lives and especially during this tough and unprecedented year. Despite the critical difficulties for the music industry and bands, many albums shined bright in 2020 throughout the global metal scene. This one is to highlight some of the domestic releases that I singled out and the only sure thing is that I gave them many spins.

Furor – "Love"

Furor returned stronger and louder than ever with a plethora of memorable choruses and groovy af parts.

FFO: Every Time I Die, While She Sleeps

Senserase – "Oros"

"Oros" is an amazing result of a hard working band that definitely loves experimental sound.

 FFO: Car Bomb, Ion Dissonance

Absense – "XV"

An aggressive outburst consisting of six songs by a promising female-fronted groove metal band.

FFO: Jinjer, Lamb Of God

Minerva Superduty – "In Public"

The MNRV's result is once again riveting and it really has whatever it needs to give you a lot of goosebumps if you're into this sound.

 FFO: Gaza, Loma Prieta

System Decay – "Crown"

Their most massive and attractive release so far, combining good old metalcore with fresh elements.

 FFO: Caliban, The Sorrow

Glance Of Medusa – "Solitude"

The first full-length album of GOM is filled with catchy melodic guitar riffs and pure emotions.

FFO: The Devil Wears Prada, Motionless In White

Calyces – "Impulse To Soar"

A blend of excellent progressive sound combined with groove metal elements.

 FFO: Mastodon, Baroness

Bent By Sorrow – "Dementia"

A dynamic set of six songs influenced by various remarkable bands of the metal genre that will definitely catch your attention.

 FFO: Godsmack, Killswitch Engage
