Live Coverage || Attila, Veil Of Maya, Sylar @ Kavka, 23/11/2019

Attila is currently on a headlining tour through Europe along with Veil Of Maya and Sylar. The tour rolled through Antwerp on November 23rd and we were there to capture everything.

The evening began with Sylar -and I'm not one to complain, since I absolutely love the band. Unfortunately, the room was half empty when the New Yorkers went on. The band did their best to warm up the crowd and didn't let the low turnout affect them. They gave their all and played all their fan favorite hits. I'm disappointed at how few people came out, because Sylar is a very good band that deserves a bigger crowd.

Up next was Veil Of Maya. Honestly, it's not a band that I'm a fan of, so their songs didn't fully grow on me. I should, however, recognize the band's effort to get people involved while the venue was still not full. Regardless, their guitarist, Marc Okubo, deserves a special mention for the funny faces he was pulling all night!

Attila closed the evening, with an attendance that hardly grew by the time they went on. I really appreciated the band's attitude who, despite the few people in front of them, had a great time on stage and raged like always. They were in a good mood as they blasted their hit songs while also cracking jokes. In the same spirit, what better to end the show than their song, "Pizza"? Especially when frontman Chris "Fronz" FronzaK, didn't hesitate to swing an actual pizza in the audience during the song... It was hilarious; what a great way to end the night!
