The wait is finally over, and Graspop Metal Meeting is ready to unleash the first headliner for #GMM25! On Thursday 19 June, British heavy metal icons Iron Maiden will close proceedings on the South Stage with a special set in celebration of Maiden’s 50th anniversary!
Over the years, British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have been frequent house guests in Dessel. In 2025 they will headline the festival for the 11th time when their ‘Run For Your Lives Tour’ stops off in Dessel to celebrate half a century of Iron Maiden. Brace yourselves for a set list spanning the first nine studio albums, from their eponymous debut to ‘Fear of the Dark’. The ‘Run For Your Lives Tour‘ promises to be the most spectacular Maiden show to date. Scream for me, Dessel!
The second juggernaut for GMM is none other than Slipknot. The American metal giants will conclude the action on the South Stage on Friday 20 June, with a set list that focuses on their legendary self-titled debut. Fans can gear up for an unforgettable, intense experience as Slipknot underscores once again why they’ve been ruling the roost for so many years.
Formed in 1995 in Des Moines, Slipknot are not just known for their iconic masks but also for their unique and unrivalled sound. Their eponymous debut from 1999 revolutionised the rock and metal world. This album full of raw emotions, intense energy and aggressive riffs is considered a genre milestone and kickstarted Slipknot’s ascent to global fame. Here comes the pain!

American nu-metal stalwarts Korn are the third headliner, who will bring the North Stage to a close on Saturday 21 June. With charismatic frontman Jonathan Davis at the helm, Korn will perform a mix of classics and new material with the trademark raw emotion, pounding riffs and thunderous bass lines that have made them so unique these past 30+ years.
The trailblazing American nu-metallers have spearheaded the genre for three decades and can’t wait to conquer Graspop Metal Meeting to celebrate this milestone in style - with their fans! With mythic hits like ‘Freak on a Leash’, ‘Falling Away from Me’ and ‘Blind’ to name but a few, Korn were instrumental in shaping the genre, inspiring millions of fans across the globe.

With Till Lindemann, the festival welcomes another stellar act to the roster for #GMM25. The larger-than-life German vocalist will bring the North Stage to its climax on Sunday 22 June. Ready for a show bursting with boundless energy? Lindemann is synonymous with a musical experience that is as fascinating as it is shocking and delivered in his own signature style that leaves hordes of fans worldwide frothing at the mouth.
Till Lindemann, the charismatic frontman of Rammstein, is bringing his solo project to Dessel and has put together a show that will make a lasting impression. Known for his dark, provocative lyrics and theatrical podium presence, Lindemann will treat the Graspop faithful to an impressive performance in his own inimitable style. His solo project has convinced all the doubters and tracks such as ‘Ich hasse Kinder’ and ‘Steh auf’ demonstrate he is perfectly capable of delivering the goods on his own.

On Thursday 19 June 2025 Iron Maiden will be joined by co-headliners Powerwolf! Last summer the German power metallers released their 10th studio album ‘Wake up the Wicked’ and they will round off the North Stage roster. Immerse yourself in the gospel of the wolf in a high mass presided by the inimitable voice of Attila Dorn and his faithful wolf pack.
Since 2003 Powerwolf have been scouring the globe with a singular mix of religious symbolism, mythology and catchy tracks. Those who witnessed last month’s performance in the Lotto Arena know exactly what to expect: a grandiose show full of metal hymns, bombastic riffs and sing-along choruses, a dramatic light show and a touch of theatrical flair that sets them apart from the competition.
