Tool confirmed for Copenhell & Graspop Metal Meeting 2024!

News of the band’s European tour follows a particularly busy time for the Los Angeles- foursome TOOL, currently in the midst of a North American tour that extends into February next year. Over the last five months, Tool has headlined Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life and the Sonic Temple Arts & Music festivals, as well as a performance at Power Trip, which Metal Hammer described as “a mind-melting, triumphant showcase of just how singular their art is, a transcendental experience that surpasses genre boundaries.”

Tool performed at Copenhell as the festival’s headliner in 2019 and gave an unforgettable concert, with festival goers looking forward to experiencing their formidable metal show again.

The band has also been confirmed as one of the headliners for Graspop Metal Meeting. More specifically, Tool are set to close out South Stage on Thursday 20 June 2024. In fact, the iconic progressive metal band from Los Angeles headed by Maynard James Keenan is making its GMM debut this year.

Formed in 1990 in Los Angeles, the American progressive metal band has a reputation for staging jaw-dropping live performances, both on a musical and visual level. In 2019, after a 13-year recording hiatus, they released their last studio album to date with ‘Fear Inoculum’, containing the Grammy-nominated tracks ‘7empest’ (Best Metal Performance) and ‘Fear Inoculum’ (Best Rock Song). The band is known for its complex and experimental style, lathered with progressive rock, alternative metal and art rock influences.
