Jera On Air 2023 confirms new bands

JERA ON AIR festival confirms a whole range of new names for the 2023 edition.

In addition to already announced highlights such as PARKWAY DRIVE, RANCID, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, LORNA SHORE or THE GHOST INSIDE, viewers can look forward to performances by none other than Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, Enter Shikari, Chelsea Grin on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th Candy, Lionheart, END and Dreamshade are happy. Ghøstkid, Touché Amoré, Defeater, Ways Away, March, Paledusk, Trash Boat, Sleep Token, The Bennies and Unity TX will also travel to Ysselsteyn.

A few weeks ago, it became apparent that December would be a particularly festive month with the announcement of Papa Roach, Billy Talent, The Interrupters, Code Orange and Pup. Tickets for JERA ON AIR, the biggest alternative festival in the Benelux, where next year's performers will include Parkway Drive, Rancid and The Ghost Inside, can be bought at

With their extremely successful mix of Irish folk and punk, Flogging Molly have been attracting numerous fans to festival grounds and concert halls for decades to sweep them away. And let's be honest: who doesn't know every word of hits like "Lullabies" and "Devil's Dance Floor"? The same can be said of Papa Roach's hits. "Cut my life into pieces, this is my last resort": What millennial punk kid didn't grow up listening to the opening lines of "Last Resort," one of American legends' smash hits? Their album "Infest", on which this jewel can be found, has cult status. Papa Roach will be happy to show why at Jera On Air 2023.

Lovers of infectious, classic punk rock will also get their money's worth with legends like Rancid, and the news that Billy Talent are coming to Ysselsteyn is sure to trigger enthusiasm. The Canadians, whose hits like 'Fallen Leaves', 'Red Flag' and 'Rusted from the Rain' can be found on any decent punk playlist, recently released their new album Crisis Of Faith, which promptly took pole position climbed the German longplay charts.

It seems that 2023 is going to be a big year for gypsy punk. And why? Quite simply: because Gogol Bordello are on tour again. With band members who are almost all from Eastern Europe, they know better than anyone else how to convey the gypsy feeling with their songs. This not only guarantees an energetic show full of great sing-along moments, but also a sweaty crowd in the tent. Standing still becomes a challenge here.

Tickets for the three-day festival, which, like last year, takes place at the brand new, expanded festival site, are available at
