The countdown has begun! With less than a month remaining before Pittsburgh hardcore/metal juggernauts 156/SILENCE release their eagerly-anticipated album, "Narrative", the band has unleashed a pummeling new single titled "Say The Phrase"!
Commenting on the song, guitarist Jimmy Howell says: "'Say the Phrase' was the first song I started writing for 'Narrative' back in the Spring of 2020. It has some familiar elements for us but it really set the tone for the types of songs we wanted to write".
Vocalist Jack Murray, adds on the track's themes: "Phases fade. Dazes weigh. Constance evades us and vagrancy stays. Complacency shades us. Our angst is delayed. 'Silence is golden' the phrase that they say".
