Slam Dunk festival reveals running orders & lineup changes

The new season is about to kick off with Slam Dunk festival, which is just a few days away and it has finally revealed the running orders for its 2021 edition. Let's have a look.

Rock Scene Stage presented by Amazon Music:

The Jagermeister tent, with two stages and zero clashes. Unfortunately Escape The Fate won't be able to perform, but Skindred arrives to save the day. This comes after the announcement that Stray From The Path would have to withdraw after drummer Craig Reynolds got injured recently and, instead of replacing them, SDF will be finishing the stage early so that headliners While She Sleeps don't clash with Don Broco. Not a bad deal.

Moving on to the Punk In Drublic stage, where skate punk pioneers Pennywise were forced to cancel, but worry not; Anti Flag will be spicing up our afternoon with some politics-fueled punk rock.

Aug. 29 update: Days N Daze had to drop out due to a flight change that redirects them through a red list country and have been replaced by Buster Shuffle.

The Key Club stages powered by Marshall amplification, where we see a few more bands added to the billing following the withdrawal of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!; Holding Absence, Lizzy Farrall, The Hara and Weather State will be pumping the SDF crowd in the best way possible.

Oh and let's not forget the super secret special guest headlining the stage. Let's make bets who that could be, we call Architects or You Me At Six.

Update Aug. 29: The headliner for the Key Club stages is none other than Boston Manor, who will be releasing new music this year, as it turns out. We missed a good one here.

Finally, the maps for Slam Dunk can also be found online. On a final note, the festival has also announced some new additions for the site this year, which include public WIFI hotspots and increased number of cash machines.

Due to reducing unnecessary level of close contact for staff there will be no wristbands this year, while no signing session will take place this year to avoid the risk of exposing artists to the virus and therefore not allowing them to go home or miss their upcoming tourdates.

See you in the pit!

Slam Dunk Festival takes place on September 4th (Leeds) and 5th (Hatfield).
