Nashville, TN based guitarist Blake Hardman has announced his departure from Counterparts through a post on his social media. While Hardman didn't disclose the reason behind his decision, he received tremendous support by Counterparts fans all over the world in the comments. The band is yet to make a statement.
I am no longer a part of @counterparts905. Thank you to everyone who supported me and the records I was a large part of. The memories and friends I made playing in the band will be cherished forever.

Blake Hardman, formerly of Hundredth and Gideon fame, joined Counterparts in 2017 and went on to release "You're Not You Anymore", "Private Room" and "Nothing Left To Love" with them.
