Live Coverage || Sum 41, Zebrahead @ Lotto Arena, 14/1/2020

Canadian pop punks Sum 41 kicked off their current tour in Antwerp on January 14th 2020. Support was provided by Zebrahead.

Zebrahead opened the evening with a super energetic show. With a mini bar on stage, crew dressed up as an aligator, a smile on the lips of the band throughout the show, 3 fans from the crowd who were pulled on stage and stagedives on an inflatable matress, the band was determined to set a good mood -and they succeeded, getting the crowd pumped! Although I wasn't familiar with the band, I really enjoyed their set and the ambience the band set!
It was time for Sum 41 to enter the stage. To me, the selection of songs was great, perfectly integrating both older and recent material. It was great, I felt I was 14 again! I have nothing negative to say about their performance, everything was perfectly played and professional. The energy reflected on the crowd as well, which was very welcoming. The Canadians offered us an hour and a half of pure entertainment, but I was so invested that it felt the show only lasted 30'. I am really looking forward to seeing them again!
