Slam Dunk confirms first bands for 2020, reveals headliner

UK's signature alternative festival, Slam Dunk, has revealed today the very first names for its 2020 edition. The lineup will see veteran bands from the previous years, such as State Champs, The Wonder Years and Mayday Parade, being joined by the likes of Motion City Soundtrack, Knuckle Puck, Ice Nine Kills, Issues, Hands Like Houses and more. Slam Dunk has also revealed the first headliner, who is none other than Don Broco.

According to the press release, "We are beyond pleased to welcome Don broco as the first headliners of Slam Dunk Festival 2020. This is a special one for us to have a fresh, homegrown headliner - and their arena tour earlier this year certainly proved they are ready for the action!

We are also thrilled to announce the exclusive UK reunion shows for Motion City Soundtrack alongside the likes of State Champs, The Wonder Years, Mayday Parade, Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck and Bayside. Pop punk FTW!

Also joining the bill for this first announcement off the back of their sold out UK tour are Ice Nine Kills, along with Issues and Hands Like Houses."

Slam Dunk is taking place on May bank holiday weekend, on May 23rd in Leeds at Temple Newsam and on May 24th in Hatfield at Hatfield Park.

Limited early bird tickets are available on Friday at 10am.
