Live Coverage || Cancer Bats @ O'Sullivan's, 10/3/2019

Cancer Bats is currently on their The Spark That Moves tour, to promote their latest record bearing the same name. We caught them play an intimate show at O'Sullivan's - Backstage By The Mill and it was the perfect idea for a Sunday evening. Although the room wasn't packed, the attendants were eager to get the party going.

Openers Underside from Kathmandu warmed up the kids who had pulled up early and performed a very entertaining set.
The second the Canadians stepped on stage, they had everyone's attention. There's no denying that Cancer Bats is an amazing live band and our previous encounters in London and ANTIFest and are a testament to that. The band was at the top of their game,  never skipping a beat while jumping around, headbanging and cracking jokes (in French) with the crowd. Although the kids rarely had huge energy outbursts, it is safe to say that they enjoyed the selection of old and newer tunes and after leaving the premises, they had enough serotonin to face a dreadful Monday.
