The Plot In You, LANDMVRKS @ Musik & Frieden, 22/5/2019

The Plot In You stopped by at Musik&Frieden in Berlin while on their “Feel Nothing” mini-headliner tour on May 22nd. They had support from the french metalcore band Landmvrks.

I normally prefer when a headliner brings two to three support band with them on tour, but I didn’t even care this time. Landmvrks has become one my favourite bands to shoot and see live since they played the While She Sleeps tour earlier this year. They bring so much energy with them when they’re on stage. Strong vocals, amazing instrumentals and they’re so fun to watch, because none of them can stand still. They played my favourite song called “Blistering” from their latest record, “Fantasy”, but they also played older gems like “Winter”. I had an amazing time and so had the rest of crowd judging by the wild moshing and shouting of the lyrics. I’m already stoked to see them again, hopefully soon.

I’ve seen The Plot In You twice before. One time being Impericon Festival Leipzig in  April 2018 and when they opened for The Amity Affliction in October 2018. And I have to say that this one in Berlin was my favourite performance by them yet. The other times I thought their set was almost a little boring to watch, because they didn’t move around on stage much which wasn't the case this time. But maybe it was the crowd too. Fans really went in on this show. I haven’t seen this much movement in a crowd in a while now. I only know TPIY’s newer stuff and a couple of their old songs. I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy them as much as I did. Sometimes you just have to go to a concert to see the opener and end up liking the headliner again too.
